dc.description.abstractBackground and Purpose: As the mother tongue of Macau and Hong Kong, Cantonese is very different from Mandarin in terms of grammar and meaning. To cope with the social development and the prerequisite of the internationalization of the city of Macau, many mainland businessmen and tourists come to Macau for travel. Under circumstances, communication is difficult. So we hope to solve this problem with the help of intelligent translators that translate Cantonese and Mandarin. Candarin hopes to simply solve the communication problems. We hope to increase the number of users through the daily use of the platform like WeChat and website, benefit the people, and develop the government's promotion of the Greater Bay Area. But Cantonese is a language with very few resources. In this case, it is more difficult to training with machine learning. It is necessary to collect more Cantonese resources to make a smart translator for Cantonese and Mandarin translation. Mobile phones have become a part of people’s lives. Using mobile phones can solve most of their daily needs. At the same time, human beings have gradually begun to rely on mobile phones. Therefore, the requirements for mobile phone applications have gradually increased. Candarin presents in three ways, website Android and iOS, at the same time, hope that the software will become dependent on the people, which will help promote the economic and trade cooperation between the Greater Bay Area. Material and Method: We choose the latest translation technology, Transformer as our neural machine translation model, and at the same time, we need to collect a large amount of data. Cantonese text on the internet which is mainly in Cantonese because we do not have a dataset available for Cantonese. On the other hand, we need to meet market demand and use exquisite design and simple operation layout to attract users. We will use the mobile app and web pages as platforms to use, hoping to make users have a deep impression and put into use our translator.en_US
