Abstract: Because of the development of Human–computer interaction (HCI), the method of interaction with the computer is becoming more and more freedom, which seek to use the human body to control computer naturally. However, the more natural action will introduce more ambiguity and require a more sensitive system. Therefore, we develop a system which can extract the hand features from images using a common digital camera. So that we can calculate the human hands shape, motion, moving direction, moving speed, etc. In addition, we added some anit-shaking algorithm to stable the result. Hence, it can control computer to do some tasks only with human hands and show the result in real time. We are adding some optimization and smoothing algorithms into the system in order to increase stability and sensitivity. Hence, users can interact with computer more intuitionally and directly.
