Abstract: Volatile organic compounds which are known as VOCs, are easily discovered in the buildings. It may emit from construction walls to affect indoor air quality and health safety. By controlling the indoor air quality, in this present work, it designs a square model with three different wall models that contains volatile organic compounds mixed with solid walls with various volume fractions, also the ventilation system implemented with an inlet and two open outlets for cleaning emitted volatile organic compounds. These cases apply the theory Lattice Boltzmann Method by solving mass transfer diffusion and convection of volatile organic compounds in the inner room. The computation tool is MATrix LABoratory which is known as MATLAB, to perform simulation of this model. The transient concentration distribution, streamline and comparing the average concentration are shown in the result section.
