Abstract: This study focuses on the design and simulation of a resilient solar power system for Macau, aimed at providing sustainable energy generation and backup power during grid disruptions. The integration of smart grid technology is highlighted to optimize renewable energy systems, particularly solar power, in addressing climate change challenges. The solar power system comprises a DC/DC Boost Converter for maximum power point tracking, a DC/AC inverter for grid synchronization, and a battery with a bidirectional converter for emergency power supply. Through detailed simulations, the effectiveness of the system components, including MPPT algorithms and grid synchronization, is demonstrated.
